Regional Public Health and Wellbeing Plan

Under the South Australian Public Health Act (2011), South Australian Councils have a statutory responsibility to develop a health plan that seeks to protect, improve and promote public health and wellbeing within their Council area.

The Health and Wellbeing Plan has been developed as a regional approach, ensuring the key issues effecting the SELGA Region have been captured and identified.  Within the Overall plan, each participating Council has their own list of Actions, to ensure the Plan whilst regional, acts local.
