Northern LC Regional Assessment Panel

Northern Limestone Coast Regional Assessment Panel

Following the launch of the new planning system in rural areas under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 (PDI Act), the Naracoorte Lucindale Council, Tatiara District Council and Kingston District Council have constituted the Northern Limestone Coast Regional Assessment Panel (RAP).

Operating under the new planning system and the PDI Act, the RAP is responsible for assessing a range of development applications in the areas of the member councils.

The Northern Limestone Coast RAP replaces the Council Assessment Panel for each Council and will enable a more consistent approach to planning across the three Council areas, as well as creating opportunities for resource sharing and providing greater efficiency in the assessment process for planning applications.

The South Australian Government Gazette Notice from 20 August 2020 on the establishment of the Northern Limestone Coast Regional Assessment Panel, can be viewed here.
