Open Space Strategy
The Open Space Strategy aims to ensure the provision of high quality open space for all residents and visitors to the Council area.
The Open Space Strategy recognises that open space contributes to the wellbeing and quality of life of residents as well as the economic development and urban amenity of the Council. Open space serves a multi-use function by providing opportunities for recreation, sport and social activities integrated with the natural environment.

Bike and Walking Master Plan
The Bike and Walking Master Plan guides the development of cycling and walking in the Naracoorte Lucindale district.

Regional Health and Wellbeing Plan
The Regional Health and Wellbeing Plan is a joint initiative of the following Councils located in the Limestone Coast Local Government Area
- Tatiara District Council
- Kingston District Council
- District Council of Robe
- Naracoorte Lucindale Council
- Wattle Range Council and
- District Council of Grant.
It's a five (5) year plan aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of the region’s residents. In preparing the plan, consideration was given to the objectives and targets in the South Australian Health Plan “A Better Place to Live”.

Suicide Prevention Action Plan
The Naracoorte Lucindale and Districts Community Suicide Prevention Network works to to keep the community safe from suicide, working from the premise that one suicide is too many for our community.
The Network is committed to building upon community connectedness to reduce the stigma of suicide and increase community resilience.
