The CEO Recruitment and Review Committee is established under the provisions of Section 41 of the Local Government Act, 1999 by resolution of Council.

The purpose of the committee is to:

  • perform the functions of a selection panel pursuant to section 98(4) of the said Act.
  • monitor the performance of Council’s Chief Executive Officer.
  • review the remuneration and conditions of employment of the CEO at 12 monthly intervals.
