Temporary Road Closure Notices
Notices of temporary road closures in the Council area will be published on this page in accordance with Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961.
Anzac Day 2024 – Temporary Road Closures
The 2024 Naracoorte Anzac Day Dawn Service and Commemorative March will be held on Tuesday 25 April.
For the Anzac Day March to occur, the following roads will be required to be temporarily closed from 4.30am until 8.30am:
- Jones Street (between Robertson and Ormerod Streets)
- DeGaris and Bank Places (between Smith and Ormerod Streets)
- Ormerod Street (between Riverside Drive and MacDonnell Street)
- Smith Street (between Rolland Street and Magarey Crescent)
- McRae Street (between Robertson Street and Riverside Drive) and
- MacDonnell Street (between Moore and Ormerod Streets)
This authority is exercised in accordance with the Instrument of General Approval and Delegation from the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure and sub delegated by Council to the CEO.
As in previous years, the closure will be facilitated by Council staff with the appropriate traffic management qualifications.
