Register of Interests

Under section 70(a1) of the Local Government Act 1999, Council must publish the Register of Interest (The Register) on it's website.

The Register contains information provided by council members in their primary and ordinary returns. The type of information to be provided is specified in the Local Government Act and the forms determined by the Minister.
Section 68 of the Local Government Act requires the CEO to maintain the Register and enter into the Register all information provided by council members in their primary and ordinary returns.

Extract of Elected Members Register of Interests

A person is entitled to inspect (without charge) the Register at Council's Naracoorte office between 8.30am to 5.30pm.
