Drainage

Council has a set of strategies for managing stormwater generation from infill development.

The strategies provide guidance to the potential development controls that should be considered for each new development area based on its location within the township i.e. which stormwater drainage catchment area it belongs to.

The strategies identify how to manage stormwater run-off from new developments as well as upgrading existing infrastructure to cope with current and future demands.

The reports below prioritise stormwater drainage capital works, outlined within the drainage studies listed for 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2000.  These documents will inform Council’s future works program.
