Musgrave Avenue Consultation
In 2019, the Lucindale Township Masterplan was launched and a key project identified by the community was improvements to Musgrave Avenue, to make it more attractive as the main street of Lucindale.
The concept design for Musgrave Avenue includes:
- Additional trees and landscaping
- Formalisation of car parking with marked spaces
- Installation of new concrete or landscaped protuberances (concrete islands)
- Footpath widening
- Reconfiguring the Musgrave Avenue/Gum Avenue intersection
- Designated gravel pull-over areas for trucks on Gum Avenue
Council wants to reconfirm these ideas with feedback from the community before the project proceeds to detail design and further consultation with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT).
Consultation runs from Monday 14 November 2022 – Monday 5 December 2022
