Projects Coordinator

- $85,000-95,000 p/a plus Super and fortnightly RDO
- Key project delivery and stakeholder engagement role
Reporting to the Director Infrastructure & Operations, this role is accountable for coordinating and delivering high-quality community infrastructure projects through all project stages, ensuring works are on time, and within scope and budget. Key Responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of civil and strategic projects, working closely with other managers and teams as required
- Coordinating procurement processes including tender preparation, evaluation, contract management and performance monitoring
- Overseeing contract and consultancy management, ensuring compliance with approved specifications, value for money and timely, high-quality service delivery
- Supporting project delivery at Council’s key sites: Naracoorte Regional Livestock Exchange, Naracoorte Aerodrome, Lucindale airstrip, Lucindale CWMS, Naracoorte Waste Transfer Station and Naracoorte Swimming Lake
- Engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end project delivery
- Pursuing grant funding to assist Council to achieve its strategic objectives.
Prior experience and qualifications in project management, ideally from a local government, infrastructure, construction, or a related sector will be required, and/or extensive experience in a similar position.
Well-developed written and verbal communication, negotiation skills and strong stakeholder engagement capability will be critical to success.
