Naracoorte Lucindale Council is seeking a capable and motivated Urban Works Coordinator to lead programmed, reactive and project work across Council’s urban roads, verges, footpaths, drainage and stormwater systems, irrigation, open spaces, playgrounds, cemeteries, the Naracoorte Swimming Lake and other community assets.
The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and supporting multi-skilled teams, scheduling and monitoring works, managing resources and budgets, supporting safe work practices, responding to customer requests and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in coordinating civil, maintenance, parks and gardens or related operational services, strong leadership and communication skills, sound computer literacy, a commitment to work health and safety, and the ability to plan and deliver multiple work programs to agreed standards, timeframes and budgets.
