Strategic Plan Review

A new Strategic Plan for Naracoorte Lucindale Council will set the vision and key outcomes for the community.

This Plan will be a “guiding light” for Council and the community and will be the principal driver of key decision making and activity.

Through this Plan everyone will understand what is important and why.

Elected Council have had a chance to discuss their initial priorities and have identified some key ideas of focus:

* Grow the visitor economy
* Promoting the district as a regional service hub
* Developing an activation strategy for the district
* Further development of the Naracoorte Creek
* Increasing resources towards the upgrade and maintenance of the road network
* Embracing the diversity of the district

Now Council wants to see if the community feels the same way or have other aspirations.

Throughout the course of this project, there will be multiple opportunities to be informed or take part over two stages:

*Round 1 is to host community meetings and workshops and receive submissions on what the community identifies as new priorities for the future.
*Round 2 is when the new Draft Strategic Plan will be available for comment by the community.
