Roll up, roll up! The 2024 Naracoorte Fringe is coming to town!
A fabulous array of live performances will grace the Naracoorte Town Squares on Saturday 17th February for a fun-filled afternoon of visual delights. Pack a picnic rug and chair and enjoy the fun of the Fringe right here on your doorstep with an afternoon of street theatre, food trucks, market stalls and buskers.
Brought to you by the Naracoorte Lucindale Council and programmed and presented by Bamboozled Productions, the Naracoorte Fringe Street Party is a free community event. In past years, it has attracted up to 1000 people and created a vibrant festive atmosphere in the Town Squares.
MC ‘Mr Spin’ will kick off the afternoon at noon with his mad-capped antics and high-level circus skills before rolling into an afternoon of back-to-back entertainment - catch Eloise Green ‘Hula Queen’ who is on a mission to find love, or ‘The Big Balloon Stunt Show’ which is returning by popular demand!
Certainly not to be missed will be ‘Duo Spectacular’ with their breath-taking aerial act, and ‘Day at the Beach’ where a lifeguard takes her safety instructions very seriously!
16 market stalls and 10 food vendors will also be at the Fringe this year to tempt your taste buds and showcase a variety of wares. The Fringe will wind up at 4pm.
As a precursor to the Naracoorte Fringe, the World Heritage listed Naracoorte Caves will host ‘Comedy in the Caves’ by the renowned Ministry of Laughs in Blanche Cave on Friday 16th February.
Pre-show entertainment will get underway at 6pm in the Caves Café before ‘Comedy in the Caves’ takes to the stage in the stunning Blanche Cave at 8pm.
Ministry of Laughs has rounded up some of the finest and funniest comedians from Australian comedy clubs, stages and festivals to bring you an unbeatable night of comedy - live in an actual cave!
Promising an evening of relentless, gut-busting laughter, Ministry of Laughs will deliver a night of comedy that will have you “smiling beginning to end, and slightly out of breath from laughing so much”.
Love a good belly laugh? This is the perfect night out for any comedy fans - grab your mates, book a babysitter, or invite a date and see the best line-up show. But snap tickets up quick! Ministry of Laughs is always a sell out and tickets for this local event are almost exhausted!
The star-studded line-up includes ‘Scoot’, Elise Lehmann, Steve Copley and JJ Harding, who all have strings of credits to their names!
