Candidate Briefing Session - 2022 Council Elections

Thinking of running for Council?

We invite members of the community who are interested in nominating for Council or would like to find out more about what is involved in becoming a Mayor or Elected Member to attend a Candidate Briefing Session on Wednesday 24 August 2022 at 7pm at the Naracoorte Library, 93 Smith Street, Naracoorte.

Registrations are encouraged for the session by contacting the Council office on 8760 1100 or emailing council@nlc.sa.gov.au

Councillors make decisions on many of the services locals use every day.

Becoming a candidate in the 2022 Council Elections is your opportunity to stand up for your community and build a bright future for your area.

You don’t need any specific experience or qualifications, just a passion to make a difference as part of a team in the place you live or work.

Candidate nominations open on August 23 and close on September 6.
