Naracoorte Library COVID-19 Update - 26 March 2020

Published 26th March 2020

With the unfolding COVID-19 situation and directions by Federal & State Government, Council is actively reviewing its response to COVID-19 to ensure that we take appropriate actions in a timely and measured approach.

We have taken further steps today to minimise risk to the health and safety of our staff and the general community by no longer providing a ‘take away’ service at the Naracoorte Library, effective immediately.

The following services are still available online at Libraries SA - https://www.libraries.sa.gov.au/digital and via the Libraries SA app - www.libraries.sa.gov.au/app:
* Digital Magazines & Newspapers
* eBooks & Audiobooks
* Online Learning - video training courses
* Family History – Ancestry.com (usually only available using computers within the library, but is currently available remotely (e.g. on a home computer).
* English Training

People who have a South Australian Public Library membership can currently access these services.

If you do not have a library membership you can join online at www.libraries.sa.gov.au

The Naracoorte Library staff are able to help you access these services and register you as a member over the phone or via an email request: phone (08) 8762 2338 or email LibraryMail@nlc.sa.gov.au
