Naracoorte Cemetery Masterplan Working Group Nominations

Nominations are now invited for the Naracoorte Cemetery Masterplan Working Group.

The Working Group will comprise three representatives from the Naracoorte Lucindale community and two Elected Members.

Cr Ken Schultz and Cr Craig McGuire were appointed as the Working Group's two Elected Members at the March Council meeting.

The aim of the Working Group is to provide a draft Naracoorte Cemetery Masterplan to the Council's Strategic Asset Management Committee to guide future development and management in the medium to long term taking into consideration:
 landscape proposals for the lawn cemetery area;
 landscape proposals for the “old Cemetery” area;
 Interpretive & historical information
 the numbering system and signage of the “old Cemetery”;
 engagement with identified stakeholders;
 other actions identified to improve the amenity of the Cemetery.
