With the unfolding Covid-19 situation and advice from Federal & State Governments, Council is actively reviewing its response to the COVID-19 to ensure that we take appropriate actions in a timely and measured approach.
Further steps have been taken today to minimise risk to the health and safety of our staff and the general community by closing all public playgrounds, outdoor exercise equipment and skate parks in the Council area.
Our Parks & Reserves remain open to the public, and you are encouraged to use them – but also taking self-responsibility by taking into account public gathering and distancing protocols.
Council continues to monitor information from Federal and State Governments, the Local Government Association of SA, and SA Health. We will continue to assess our position, and will provide updates to keep you informed.
We encourage you to access information and advice about COVID-19 via www.health.gov.au or www.sahealth.sa.gov.au
