Following advice from the State Government that parks and playgrounds can be safely enjoyed by the public, the Naracoorte Lucindale Council has now reopened all public playgrounds, outdoor exercise equipment and skate parks.
Effective from Monday 4 May the community is encouraged to once again use and enjoy these facilities. We also ask that you practice self-responsibility by taking into account public gathering (10 or less people at any one time) and social distancing protocols (1.5m from each other where practical and reasonable).
As advice from Federal and State Governments is received on relaxing restrictions, Council will continue to actively review its response to the COVID-19 to ensure that we take appropriate actions in a timely and measured approach.
We encourage you to access information and advice about COVID-19 via www.health.gov.au or www.sahealth.sa.gov.au
