Discover Frances on the border of South Australia and Victoria. Self sufficient travellers are welcome to set up at the community run Frances Recreation Reserve.

The spacious Frances Recreation Reserve is the sporting and community hub.  Features include: oval, tennis courts, netball courts, clubrooms, bowls club and War Memorial.  There is access to toilet facilities and some amenities.  If you are staying at this site, we encourage you to help keep it clean, and take the time to discover and support the local businesses.

While in Frances, enjoy a break in the Frances Town Square - a newly-developed shared recreational space in the centre of town for locals and visitors alike. The Town Square features a nature play area, giant water hand pump, gazebo with seating and a table, large lawned area, gardens and five impressive sculptures acknowledging the area’s connection with the Red-Tailed Black Cockatoos.
